Esto lo logró Boruto – Naruto the Movie al recaudar $5.46 millones de dólares en sus primeros 3 días de exhibición al vender más de 500,000 boletos en los 268 cines dónde se proyectó la cinta. Al ritmo que va es muy factible que la cinta del hijo de Naruto supere los 16 millones de dólares que recaudó Naruto: The Last el año pasado.
