Tras
confirmarse el desarrollo de
Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 para PlayStation 4 y PS Vita
llega la primera y prometida batería de noticias a través de la revista Famitsu.
La versión de sobremesa se llamará Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune, mientras que la portátil será bautizada como Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Venus.
Ambas ediciones del juego saldrán a la venta en Japón y zona Asia. Si los fans quieren que llegue a occidente tendrá que haber la suficiente demanda, aunque de llegar lo haría con una versión modificada. Para PlayStation 4 están trabajando en pulir el mejorado Soft Engine 2.0, que, siendo francos, se traduce en tetas que botan más y mejor. La versión para PS Vita utilizará el Soft Engine Lite, que permite elementos interactivos a través del panel táctil y el giroscopio.
Se mejoran gratamente las “recompensas” por emplear tiempo junto a las chicas y se confirma un modo cámara. También se mejora el sistema de bronceado.
Se insinúa que podrían incluirse personajes masculinos, “que sea un Dead or Alive Xtreme no significa que solo tenga que haber personajes femeninos”. [Actualizado] Corregimos un error de traducción de nuestra fuente. En realidad en el texto

El día 20 de agosto se compartirán temas protagonizados por quince protagonistas, y los nueve personajes más descargados serán incluidos en el juego.
Por último, se confirma que no habrá DLC.
