Continuación de Kamisama Hajimemashita. Después de ser abandonada por su padre debido a sus deudas y ser echada de su apartamento, Momozono Nanami encuentra a Mikage, un extraño sujeto, a quien salva de unos perros. Él, en agradecimiento, le obsequia un hogar que ella acepta por no tener adonde ir. No obstante, una vez allí descubre que el lugar es en realidad un templo abandonado que alberga a un poderoso youkai-zorro llamado Tomoe y ella ha sido elegida por Mikage para ser la nueva “Diosa” de la tierra. Aunque al principio, tanto Tomoe como Nanami, están de acuerdo en que no tiene ni lo mínimo necesario para el cargo, Nanami decide quedarse e intentarlo al convertirse en el familiar de Tomoe.

Kamisama Hajimemashita es un shojo que me gustó bastante cuando salió (2012), pues era fresco y gracioso, pero la verdad es que en esa época
no lo llegué a considerar imprescindible por diversos motivos. Primero que nada: con sólo 13 ligeros episodios no logró tener un desarrollo memorable y faltó mucho. Además, no me bancaba a su protagonista y, como si fuera poco, se me olvidó rapidísimo toda su trama. Sin embargo, con el anuncio de la segunda temporada surgió una mini chispa en mi cabeza y me puse a rever la serie justo antes del estreno. Cosa que fue lo mejor que pude haber hecho, porque gracias a eso hoy tengo la obligación de decir que
Kamisama Hajimemashita es uno de mis shojos favoritos.
Los nuevos capítulos siguen la línea de la historia que nos presentaron anteriormente (aunque supongo que se habrán salteado algunas cositas del manga) y se centra más que nada en
el desarrollo de Nanami como diosa. Justamente una de mis quejas durante la primera parte era sobre la poca importancia que se le dio a los poderes de Nanami, pero mis ruegos fueron escuchados y no me puedo quejar esta vez. En esta entrega nuestra protagonista empieza a de a poco a progresar en lo que respecta a sus habilidades y, además, a dejar de depender tanto de Tomoe (bueno, sólo un poquito). Por otro lado,
evoluciona un montón y deja de lado sus preocupaciones puramente amorosas.
No obstante, lo mejor sin dudas de KH “◎” ha sido la presentación de
los nuevos personajes y, desde ya, el arco de Kurama. Me sorprende que puedan seguir saliendo personajes tan tiernos, uno tras otro, sin empalagar. A pesar de que sí, efectivamente hay romance y personalidades adorables, este anime no llega a ser cursi ni cerca (o por lo menos no llega a un nivel que no se tolere). A decir verdad, exactamente es ésa la razón por la que existe
mi amor puro por Kamisama.
Pero no todo es color rosa. Quizás está mal que pretenda tanto en tan poco, aunque mi decepción de esta temporada fue Tomoe. Es cierto que también ha crecido como personaje y que su relación con Nanami se desarrolló baste, aunque me hubiese gustado muchísimo que se tratara y profundizara el tema de su pasado. Nos vienen tirando pistas desde hace un montón mas nunca llegamos a saber absolutamente toda la historia. Es más, metieron a Akuraou (un personaje que me encantó) para eso y tampoco terminaron de cerrar la idea, así todavía no podemos saber cuál es exactamente su conexión y qué pasó con el zorro (sólo queda atar cabos o leer el manga).
Igual, con sus fallos y aciertos, Kamisama no deja de ser un shojo que merece la pena ser visto; y más ahora que tenemos 25 episodios de pura ternura. Hay tantas tramas abiertas que no me sorprendería una tercera temporada… o mejor dicho,
la exijo.
Amo Jirou y a la animación de esta serie, muchísimo. Me encantan los diseños de personajes, los colores, los fondos, la fluidez, t-o-d-o. Y, a pesar de que ya no tenemos el pegadizo opening y el ending de la temporada pasada, la música también es muy agradable.
-- CONCLUSIÓN --
En pocas palabras, Kamisama Hajimemashita “◎”mantiene la esencia de su predecesora. Dulce, cómica, agradable y dando pasos en lo que respecta a la historia, es una segunda temporada que no te podés perder. Y si todavía no miraste la primera ¿¡Qué estás esperando!?
