El célebre mangaka
Masashi Kishimoto comienza a tener nuevas inquietudes tras la finalización deNaruto, uno de los shonen de acción más populares de la historia del manga. Si bien comenzó a trabajar en Boruto, una historia derivada y centrada en el hijo del protagonista, Kishimoto ya tiene decidido qué es lo que quiere hacer a continuación, y espera que llegue a ser
más popular que Naruto.
Recientemente, en
una entrevista concedida a una publicación japonesa, Kishimoto habló sobre cómo terminó la historia de Naruto, las dificultades que implican trabajar en un manga de ritmo semanal, y que no se ve a sí mismo trabajando en otro manga con este ritmo de publicación.
Sí que se ve trabajando en una historia cuyo ritmo sea más relajado y tenga una publicación mensual. Concretamente mostró interés por la publicación digital Shonen Jump Plus al permitir mayor libertad de trabajo en cuanto a número de páginas a entregar y en los plazos de entrega.
Lo más interesante de la entrevista tiene relación con sus
planes futuros como autor de historietas.
Tengo decidido qué hacer para mi próximo manga. Mientras trabajaba en Naruto estuve pensando en varias cosas, y creo que voy a dedicarme a la ciencia ficción. La idea no está del todo definida y aún no he mostrado nada a mi editor, pero ya tengo preparado el diseño de los personajes. El protagonista será muy distinto de lo que hayáis podido ver con anterioridad.
Naruto fue un éxito más grande de lo que habría podido llegar a imaginar. Espero poder conseguir un nuevo manga de éxito. No sé cuándo podré anunciar mi nuevo trabajo, pero tengo la intención de desafiarme a mí mismo y lograr un éxito mayor que el de Naruto.
